Artist Royalties Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Artist Royalties.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze artist contracts for royalty obligations and prepare contract brief summaries
• Entry of royalty terms into the system, including creating accounts and running reports
• Manage period end tasks, vendor setups, and serve as a point of contact for artist royalty clients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a recorded music company
• Four-year college degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting artist contracts and statements
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of royalty accounting systems
