Artist Royalty Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Artist Royalties.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze artist contracts for royalty obligations and prepare contract brief summaries
• Enter royalty terms into the system, create accounts, and manage reports
• Ensure compliance of artist royalty contract entries with internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a recorded music company
• Four-year college degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting artist contracts and statements
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of royalty accounting systems
