AS/400 System Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AS/400 System Administrator to manage and support IBM AS/400 systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of IBM AS/400 systems, including server, system, and security operations
• Develop, test, and implement programs on AS/400 or integrate data into existing/new systems
• Maintain disaster recovery processes and ensure system integrity and security compliance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience administering IBM AS/400 (IBM i), preferably Version 7.3 or higher
• Hands-on experience with AS/400 development, coding, testing, and system integration
• Experience with Power 8 systems and Dell EMC VNX storage for backup/disaster recovery
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) with at least one IBM i (AS/400) training course completed
