AS400 Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AS400 Developer for Application Development and Solutions support.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop iSeries code for various applications in the Retail Domain
• Create functional specifications and perform code reviews, unit testing, and coordinate with the development team
• Provide 2nd level support, resolve incident tickets, and participate in collaborative technical discussions

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming skills on the iSeries platform, including RPG, RPG ILE, and SQLRPGLE
• Good knowledge of SQL concepts and ability to analyze and modify complex SQL queries
• Understanding of database concepts, including physical and logical files, SQL tables, and stored procedures
• Experience in screen programming and ILE programming
• Familiarity with Message Queue (MQ) and XML integration in RPG programs
