AS400 Technical Lead
Job Summary
Leading the development of mission-critical enterprise applications, the remote contract AS400 Technical Lead will provide technical leadership, engage in client interactions, and oversee solution design and code reviews while mentoring development teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and preparation of STTM documents for enterprise applications
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
- Engage with clients to design solutions and estimate project requirements
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with AS400 and COBOL
- Strong knowledge of AS/400 ILE concepts with CL programming
- Proficiency in Query/400 and SQL
- Experience in Legacy Modernization and Reverse Engineering
- Familiarity with Business Rules Extraction (BRE) is preferred
