ASA Licensed Actuary
Job Summary
Joining the Voluntary Benefits Pricing Strategy team, the full-time remote ASA Licensed Actuary will focus on custom pricing and analysis for Elective Voluntary Benefits products while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance pricing strategies and support product development.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage large case custom pricing strategy and review quoting performance metrics
- Lead projects to improve pricing/underwriting accuracy, competitiveness, and efficiency
- Collaborate with sales, underwriting, compliance, and finance to ensure pricing strategy success
Required qualifications:
- ASA or equivalent certification required
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an actuarial role
- Experience in pricing strategy for large product lines in Supplemental Health, Disability, or Life products preferred
- Advanced skills in Excel & VBA required; experience with SQL, Power BI, and GGY Axis is a plus
