ASCP Certified Medical Technologist

Job Summary

To support the Operations Department, the remote ASCP Certified Medical Technologist I, Data Reviewer will review and analyze clinical test results, collaborate with laboratory personnel, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical test results for accuracy and translate data into laboratory information systems
• Analyze raw data files and resolve routine issues related to molecular genetic testing
• Verify patient specimens and test requisitions to ensure correct tests were performed

Required qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as an ASCP-certified Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or a related field with relevant training
• Current MT/MDxT/CLS/MB certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostics and DNA sequencing methods preferred
• Ability to complete HIPAA/PHI privacy training within the first 30 days of hire
