ASL Interpreter Transcriber

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ASL Interpreter/Transcriber to facilitate communication within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services in various settings, including classrooms, meetings, and events
• Deliver real-time captioning services and edit transcripts for accuracy
• Assist students and faculty with questions and facilitate access to programs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate's degree
• Minimum of two years of interpreting experience, preferably in post-secondary education
• Must demonstrate interpreting competency through third-party evaluation
• Completion of an Interpreter Training Program is preferred
• Must pass the TypeWell pre-screening test and complete TypeWell online training
