Job Summary

ASL Subject Matter Expert is sought for a part-time contracted position to develop ASL activities for digital curriculum aimed at high school students, requiring recent ASL teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create ASL activities and assessments aligned with state curriculum and ACTFL standards
• Develop engaging video scripts and role-plays for sign language videos
• Collaborate remotely with a larger team to enhance digital courseware

Required Qualifications

• Recent ASL teaching experience at the high school or post-secondary level
• Post-secondary degree in ASL
• Fluency in ASL and proficiency in written English
• Ability to create engaging and effective language assessments
• Familiarity with various tech applications such as MS Word and Slack
