Assembler Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assembly Programmer to contribute to the modernization of legacy Assembler systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing ALC software and produce technical documentation for Java code development
- Collaborate with Java developers to support code migration from Assembler to Java
- Develop and manage high-performance relational databases and troubleshoot software issues
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Assembler Language Coding (ALC)
- Hands-on experience with mainframe systems, including JCL and TSO
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
- Ability to obtain a Department of Treasury Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
- U.S. Citizenship or a Green card is required
