Assessment Content Manager

Job Summary

Owning the assessment content strategy and execution, the full-time remote Assessment Content Manager will lead a team of designers and contributors, ensuring quality and consistency across various subject domains while managing large-scale projects and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the assessment content strategy and roadmap execution, translating production plans into team assignments and milestones
• Lead and manage the assessment content team, providing direction, coaching, and performance reviews to ensure team growth
• Create and implement clear, repeatable processes to achieve operational excellence and maintain consistency across teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in assessment content development, including at least 2+ years in a management role
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and developing item writers and content leads
• Fluency in multi-subject standards, including CCSS and NGSS, across K-12 content areas
• Expert understanding of educational assessment design principles and measurement
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering against aggressive timelines
