Assessment Lead
Job Summary
Overseeing independent testing and evaluation of controls, the remote Assessment Lead will manage assessment teams, conduct rigorous evaluations, and produce formal assessment reports on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Lead control assessments, interviews, sampling procedures, and technical validation activities
- Produce Security Assessment Reports (SARs), test procedures, risk ratings, and summary findings
- Serve as the primary technical authority for Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment accuracy
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of RMF assessment experience
- Strong familiarity with SP 800 53A, assessment test cases, and evidence evaluation
- Experience producing SARs, worksheets, and risk ratings
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification is required
- CEH or equivalent Pen Testing certification is required
