Asset Resolution Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of delinquent loans, the full-time remote Asset Resolution Specialist will implement customized loss mitigation strategies, engage with borrowers, and negotiate with investors to minimize financial losses and protect investor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delinquent loan portfolios and develop tailored loss mitigation strategies from initial default to final resolution
• Analyze workout options and propose optimal resolution paths based on financial impacts to investors
• Serve as the primary contact for borrowers, guiding them through financial hardship with empathy and expertise

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience required
• 2+ years of mortgage experience preferred, with knowledge of loss mitigation processes
• General understanding of foreclosure, short sale, reinstatement, and deed in lieu processes
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume delinquent loan pipeline independently
• Strong negotiation skills and comfort with difficult conversations involving distressed borrowers and investors
