Job Summary

Experienced systems software engineers will find a full-time remote opportunity as an Assets Protocol Engineer, focusing on the design, implementation, and evolution of the Taproot Assets Protocol while contributing to peer-to-peer cryptocurrency daemons and collaborating on future protocol iterations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core features and algorithms for the Taproot Assets Protocol
• Contribute to mission-critical peer-to-peer cryptocurrency daemons written in Go
• Collaborate with the team on research and design for future iterations of the protocol

Required qualifications

• Strong engineering background with solid programming skills, particularly in Go, C, or C++
• Thorough understanding of distributed systems and peer-to-peer networking principles
• Experience with Bitcoin, cryptography, and financial software
• Prior contributions to crypto protocols and open source software preferred
• Quick learner with a willingness to take ownership of projects
