Assistant Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company in the financial industry is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process and general ledger accounting
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Manage, coach, and develop team members

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance and CPA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial auditing
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
