Assistant Actuary Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Actuary Analyst to join their Workers Compensation actuarial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support actuaries with analysis and prepare actuarial research and reports
• Analyze and create efficient methods for financial exhibits and propose alternative analytic approaches
• Conduct independent analysis, verify data quality, and maintain documentation of methods and activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math/applied math, statistics/applied statistics, or related field
• Ability to analyze data and review moderately complex analyses
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in new topics
• Passage of two or more actuarial exams is preferred
• Proficiency in analytical software such as Excel, SAS, Python, or R is a plus
