Assistant Actuary - Model Development

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Assistant Actuary - Model Development, the full-time position will focus on Prophet model development and testing, ensuring high-quality models that support business decisions while working in a hybrid or remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and test Prophet models for various product types, adhering to Model Risk Management policies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand model changes, prioritize requests, and assist in model acceptance
• Manage large-scale development initiatives and document processes and decisions made during model development

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in actuarial model development
• Proficiency in FIS Prophet actuarial system for asset and liability projection modeling
• Advanced knowledge of insurance products, actuarial theory, and industry regulations
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation is preferred
