Assistant Buyer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Assistant Buyer will manage inventory levels, implement merchandising strategies, and negotiate with suppliers to optimize product availability and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Implement merchandising strategies for core assortments and pricing architecture
• Monitor retail inventory levels at the SKU level to align with sales plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with supply partners and negotiate advantageous terms

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is desirable
• 1+ years of industry experience preferred, with 2+ years in merchandising and buying, ideally in cannabis
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and analytics software
• Supervisory experience required
• Cannabis product knowledge is desirable
