Assistant Buyer - Rental
Job Summary
To support the Vail Resorts Retail Rental team, the full-time Assistant Buyer - Rental will manage product strategies, collaborate with vendors and distribution centers, and analyze inventory performance while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of product strategies across various rental business lines
- Partner with Buyers to develop assortment plans and maintain vendor relationships
- Analyze rental inventory performance and support demand forecasting and inventory planning
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, or related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated success working with large data sets
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
