Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to streamline and scale accounting processes and implement best practices
• Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls for accurate financial reporting
• Oversee and manage the month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Advanced understanding of GAAP and familiarity with crypto accounting practices
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with blockchain-based financial tools is desirable
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving industry regulations
