Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee key accounting functions and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 standards
• Oversee commission accounting and manage lease accounting processes globally under ASC 842
• Supervise the US accounting team and drive improvements in financial reporting processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience with expertise in revenue recognition
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and prepaid commission accounting
• Experience in a global organization with multi-entity and multi-currency operations
• Proficiency in accounting tools such as NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
