Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements and conduct financial analysis
• Collaborate on the development of the annual budget and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgeted figures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including internal controls and audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in financial reporting and management
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing finance and accounting teams
• Experience with internal and external auditors, including financial and government auditors
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced financial analysis tools
