Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee accounting operations in a remote, multi-channel distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
• Assist with sales tax compliance and maintain related accounts
• Design and implement internal controls and support ERP system initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred)
• 6+ years of accounting experience in a complex, multi-entity, or inventory-intensive environment
• Experience managing sales and use tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) is a plus
