Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Assistant Controller, a full-time position responsible for leading the finance team, ensuring accurate financials, and supporting scalable operations in a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Staff Accountant team, ensuring timely month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, maintain audit-ready schedules, and manage sales tax compliance
• Analyze financial results to support forecasting and decision-making for leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in high-growth environments
• Prior experience leading or reviewing work of junior accounting staff
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Advanced or similar accounting systems
