Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Assistant Controller, the full-time hybrid position will manage corporate accounting, technical accounting, and financial reporting while transforming the accounting function through AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the accounting close process to public company timelines, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Lead, mentor, and develop a scalable, high-performing accounting team, while implementing best-in-class practices
• Drive preparation and review of detailed fluctuation analyses and manage external audit interactions for the accounting areas

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in high-growth environments
• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and strong judgment in complex accounting areas
• Experience using AI tools for research, reporting, or workflow automation
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex revenue topics clearly to cross-functional teams and executive leadership
