Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Supporting the Controller in overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting functions, the full-time remote Assistant Controller will manage general accounting tasks, assist in audit processes, and ensure compliance with GAAP while collaborating with various departments to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage the financial consolidation process to ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements
• Support audit activities and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing accounting functions in a public or private equity-backed company
• CPA certification preferred
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting and GAAP compliance
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills
