Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Managing a team responsible for the month-end close, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller will oversee general ledger activities, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inter-company transactions
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and track differences in statutory reporting for international subsidiaries
• Serve as the primary contact for external audits and lead the compilation of financial statements and tax returns for foreign subsidiaries

Required qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite and Concur is required
• A minimum of 3+ years of management experience in high-growth SaaS tech companies
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, including consolidation reporting and elimination entries
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial controls and processes
• Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
