Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller-Accounting Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for accounts payable, travel, and payroll functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in processes
• Oversee staff hiring, development, and performance appraisals while promoting process improvements and compliance with policies
• Research complex accounting issues and provide guidance on GAAP and regulatory compliance for financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance
• 14 years of experience in a related field, or 12 years with a Master's degree, or 9 years with a PhD
• Thorough working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong computer skills, particularly in business solutions software and advanced Excel
• Ability to hold confidential information and meet critical deadlines
