Assistant Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Director to join their production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director by identifying story arcs and key narrative elements during filming
• Build initial cuts from raw footage and assist in structuring rough edits
• Collaborate with editors and producers to ensure organized footage and notes for post-production

Required Qualifications

• Strong storytelling ability with an understanding of basic storytelling frameworks
• Basic editing experience using tools like Adobe Premiere or similar
• Ability to work closely with the Director and crew on set
• Proactive mindset focused on improving storytelling
• Previous experience in a YouTube or digital content environment is a plus
