Job Summary

Supporting the planning and execution of campus events, the full-time salaried Assistant Director of Event Services will coordinate logistics for various events, manage scheduling and space reservations, and lead a collaborative team environment while ensuring compliance with university policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics and execution for campus events, including academic programs and external rentals
  • Manage event scheduling and oversee planning and logistics using the university's event management system
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal departments and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving operational issues
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in event or conference services, property management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet applications
