Assistant Director of Financial Services

Job Summary

Providing specialized guidance to graduate business students, the full-time salaried Assistant Director of Student Financial Services will manage financial aid processes, serve as a School Certifying Official for military benefits, and ensure compliance with federal regulations in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-touch support to students, interpreting complex federal and institutional financial policies
• Act as a strategic advisor, counseling students on funding options and compliance requirements
• Monitor data integrity and process financial aid applications, ensuring accurate reporting and allocation of benefits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• Two or more years of administrative and/or customer service experience
• Experience in Financial Aid, Veteran's Affairs, or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with systems like Banner, Oracle, or VA Enrollment Manager is advantageous
• Knowledge of federal and private loan programs and U.S. Veterans Affairs education benefits is strongly preferred
