Assistant Director of Law Career Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant or Associate Director of Law Career Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel and coach students and alumni on career planning, focusing on the private sector
• Create and present career services programs, panels, and workshops for students and recent graduates
• Develop and manage external communications and employer relations to enhance student engagement and recruitment opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Three to five years of legal experience, including presentations and public speaking
• Experience in legal recruiting and/or career development in higher education is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, administrative, and supervisory skills
• Technological literacy, including knowledge of career services database software
