Assistant Director of Philanthropy

Job Summary

Supporting the advancement of philanthropy, the full-time salaried Assistant Director of Philanthropy (Principal Gift Stewardship) will manage donor recognition, engagement, and reporting strategies while collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative stewardship experiences for principal gift donors in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality stewardship materials and coordinate stewardship projects for principal gift donors
• Collaborate with gift officers and other teams to ensure cohesive donor engagement experiences
• Build rapport with stakeholders and adapt stewardship strategies to evolving donor expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, or related fields
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of gift agreements and compliance requirements
• Experience utilizing CRM systems to track stewardship activities
