Assistant Director, Portfolio Management

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid capacity, the full-time salaried Assistant Director, Multi-Sector Portfolio Management will oversee the management of general account portfolios, enhance investment tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize portfolio strategies and achieve client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of affiliated general account and client portfolios, executing trades and contributing to strategic decision-making
• Evaluate and enhance investment processes to improve efficiency and performance, implementing best practices for asset strategies
• Conduct ad-hoc research and stay informed on industry trends to support investment recommendations and portfolio construction

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or a related field with quantitative skills
• 8-10 years of experience in a multi-sector investment analyst role, preferably in insurance or asset management
• Experience in financial markets and insurance asset management, especially in fixed income markets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and coding languages such as Python or SQL
• Progression towards CFA or MBA preferred
