Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal support to Data Analytics, IT, Privacy & Security, and Innovation teams
Serve as a subject matter expert on legal/regulatory issues related to privacy, data, and security
Monitor and advise on changes in laws or regulations impacting company strategy

Required Qualifications:

At least twelve years of experience with exceptional academic and law firm credentials
At least five years of in-house experience with a life insurance carrier preferred
In-depth knowledge and understanding of data privacy laws and intellectual property, preferably in the life insurance industry
Strong business acumen
