Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise internal business teams on legal and operational issues
• Negotiate and draft commercial agreements and provide guidance on corporate governance and compliance
• Review marketing and product materials and advise on the development of new products

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of legal experience at a top law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience with regulatory issues, particularly in data privacy, insurance, or finance
• Detail-oriented with exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments under pressure
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and bar admission in good standing
