Assistant General Counsel - International

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel - International Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and support for commercial agreements with international suppliers
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for supplier contracts
• Stay updated on legal developments impacting foreign supplier activities and provide compliance advice

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. State Bar
• A minimum of four years of legal experience, focusing on commercial contracts for international sourcing
• Experience with international trade laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
• Understanding of sourcing best practices and supply chain knowledge
• Knowledge of global legal requirements in Mainland China, Taiwan, or SEA countries is preferred
