Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel - Privacy & Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on privacy laws and regulations, including emerging requirements related to Artificial Intelligence
- Provide legal advice on privacy matters and assist with the development of Data Protection and Privacy Programs
- Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts while ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active Bar membership in the U.S
- Three to five years of legal experience in data privacy, technology contracting, and digital commerce
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and international privacy laws and regulations
- Experience in drafting and negotiating IT-related contracts
- Demonstrated interest in technology and familiarity with IT infrastructure and data governance technologies
