Job Summary

Assuming the responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager, the full-time salaried Assistant General Manager Specialist will oversee hotel operations, ensure compliance with brand standards, and support financial and sales initiatives at a Select Brand hotel in the East Region.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage all hotel departments and perform Assistant General Manager duties, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards
  • Conduct training for new initiatives and support regional specialist team initiatives while promoting best practices
  • Review financial reports and sales forecasts, implementing action steps to achieve hotel goals and maximize revenue
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant lodging operations experience
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operating, financial, and sales and marketing procedures
  • Experience in conducting training and leading staff meetings
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and corporate accounting procedures
