Job Summary
Assuming the responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager, the full-time salaried Assistant General Manager Specialist will oversee hotel operations, ensure compliance with brand standards, and support financial and sales initiatives at a Select Brand hotel in the East Region.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all hotel departments and perform Assistant General Manager duties, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards
- Conduct training for new initiatives and support regional specialist team initiatives while promoting best practices
- Review financial reports and sales forecasts, implementing action steps to achieve hotel goals and maximize revenue
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant lodging operations experience
- Preferred bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge of hotel operating, financial, and sales and marketing procedures
- Experience in conducting training and leading staff meetings
- Familiarity with compliance standards and corporate accounting procedures
