Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking an Assistant Integrity Officer to develop and maintain compliance programs, prevent and detect compliance risks, conduct audits, and educate stakeholders on government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a resource to clinical areas on compliance issues, enforce policies and procedures through disciplinary action, and communicate the importance of compliance to employees
  • Monitor regulatory developments and operational changes, educate stakeholders on government regulations, and conduct reviews and audits of clinical risk areas
  • Assist with assessing clinical activities, evaluating medical necessity, and ensuring compliance with documentation, coding, and billing requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience with clinical documentation, billing, and coding
  • Familiarity with a complex administrative and financial environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and previous success in dealing with staff at all levels
  • Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient professional documentation, coding, and billing requirements
