Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Manager, Underwriting (General Casualty).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct underwriting team members to achieve division goals
  • Manage underwriting staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor rate levels and provide input on underwriting and pricing guides

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years industry experience, preferably in Surplus Lines
  • Specific experience in marketing and underwriting related products
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Professional designation is preferred
