Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant Professor, CFFP.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach graduate certificate and Master's courses in financial planning and wealth management
- Lead curriculum and content development for financial planning courses
- Engage in research and contribute to professional and institutional service
Required Qualifications
- A terminal degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline or a master's degree with the same credit hours and at least 5 years of financial services industry experience
- At least 2 of the following: certifications or licensures related to the discipline, publications or presentations, or 200 hours of teaching contact hours with evidence of teaching excellence
- If no terminal degree, at least 5 years of financial services industry experience and the same criteria as above apply
- Advanced designations such as CFP, CFA, ChFC, CLU, CEBS/RPA, and CASL are preferred
