Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant Faculty in Sociology - Online (Part-Time).
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments, respond appropriately, and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
- Assist in managing student communications and grading, monitor engagement levels, and provide student support as needed
- Develop supplemental support documents, videos, and job aids, and perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Sociology or Criminal Justice required
- Master's degree in any area with 18 semester or 27 quarter hours of graduate coursework in Sociology or Criminal Justice required
- Professional experience in the field of study preferred, along with previous teaching experience
- Online teaching experience preferred, and experience within the criminal justice field is preferred
- Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required
