Assistant Teaching Professor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Teaching Professor (AY).

Key Responsibilities

• Teach six courses per academic year in the Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior major and minor
• Develop and deliver engaging educational opportunities through interdisciplinary environmental education
• Plan and manage multiple courses each semester, including the introductory course required for all majors and minors

Required Qualifications

• PhD in a social or behavioral science discipline or exceptional ABD candidates with significant teaching experience
• Demonstrated expertise in topics central to the Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior program
• Prior experience teaching undergraduate students
• Ability to teach both in-person and asynchronous remote online courses
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational practices
