Assistant Underwriter, Renewable Energy

Job Summary

Supporting the Property Insurance team, the full-time Assistant Underwriter, Renewable Energy will manage risk assessment, submission triage, and policy administration in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluating applications for renewable energy property insurance
• Supporting Underwriters with pricing, approvals, and policy administration
• Managing new business, renewals, and endorsements while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of underwriting experience in property insurance or as an underwriting support role
• Experience with natural catastrophe underwriting or Nat Cat modeling is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel for processing submissions efficiently
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong customer service focus and effective communication skills
