Associate Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Assistant II or Associate Actuary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform projections and analytics for business planning, cash flow, and risk-based capital testing
• Analyze results at company and product levels, document findings, and validate projection models
• Develop tools and implement new technology to enhance analysis and provide modeling expertise

Qualifications:

• Near-ASA or recent ASA designation preferred
• 3-4 years of actuarial experience in asset/liability modeling, pricing, or financial reporting
• Familiarity with actuarial modeling systems; experience with PolySystems is a plus
• Knowledge of Statutory and U.S. GAAP valuation methodologies
• Proficiency or willingness to learn SQL and visual analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
