Associate Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary to leverage actuarial expertise for analytics and financial forecasting in pediatric healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tools to measure performance of value-based arrangements and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Assist in developing cost and revenue forecasting models using Medicaid reimbursement and claims data
• Analyze profitability and collaborate with finance and business development teams to inform strategic recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience in healthcare or managed care
• Experience with Medicaid managed care rate development preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS
