Associate Actuary (ACAS)

Job Summary

Supporting commercial lines pricing and profitability analysis, the full-time Associate Actuary (ACAS) will lead actuarial projects, conduct reserve reviews, and develop pricing recommendations, with the option to work onsite in Hastings, MI, or in a hybrid or remote capacity for candidates in select states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead actuarial projects related to pricing, profitability analysis, and loss reserving for commercial lines
• Design and manage actuarial analyses, providing insights to influence business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance drivers and support strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of actuarial experience
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation
• Experience in commercial lines pricing and/or reserving
• Advanced mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills
