Associate Actuary - ASA

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary - ACA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated solutions for ACA exchange rate filings
• Identify drivers of rate changes and communicate findings to stakeholders and regulators
• Collaborate with team members to develop assumptions for pricing and analyze claims and membership data

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of actuarial experience
• Experience in pricing healthcare insurance is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Excel VBA, R, and/or SQL is advantageous
