Job Summary
Seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative Associate Actuary (ASA) to work full-time remotely, this role focuses on evaluating strategic initiatives related to Quality and Affordability Initiatives (QAI) and Value-Based Care (VBC) arrangements, while conducting analysis, pricing, and risk assessments to support corporate strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for all actuarial activities related to VBC contracts
- Conduct research and analysis to assess the impact of legislative changes and evaluate cash reserves and liabilities
- Develop new actuarial methodologies and translate complex financial impacts into understandable narratives for executive stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent certification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least two years of actuarial experience
- Advanced skills in data extraction and modeling (e.g., SQL, Python, R, and/or SAS)
- Experience in actuarial consulting or Value-Based Care analytics
